Teaching Positions Available
Malik Academy is expanding and is looking to hire elementary school teachers for the 2011/2012 Academic year. The ideal candidate should have previous related experience in teaching in elementary schools within North America, a degree in education, be able to integrate Islamic values and behavior into classroom rituals, can create a stimulating learning environment for children with different needs, relates to families and children, and cooperate with his/her colleagues. Strong English communication skills is a must.
Duties include:
Create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Monitor student progress and communicate areas of concern to Principal and the parents.
Maintain records or portfolios of student work.
